I am forever grateful for the help and support I have received from you. Your wisdom and strategies have helped me to come to terms with life after a very traumatic event. Thank you for your kindness, your thoughtfulness and compassion.

Brilliant workshop run by an expert facilitator – thank you WildTalk [Frances] for the mental health workshop for wildlife carers held in Queanbeyan, NSW.

WildTalk [Frances] came to Tasmania to deliver a course to us on Caring for the Carer with Wildlife caring. I can’t believe that I have not met you earlier! In all the times that I have been to see a counsellor over the years, I have thought it to be a waste of time because they didn’t ‘get’ me. However, you sure did. I am so thankful to have met you and can see that you have assisted great carers both in and out of our state. It is so nice to meet another passionate person with a genuine cause for assisting those who raise wildlife. Thank you ever so much.

I attended a workshop with WildTalk [Frances] last weekend sponsored by Wildcare Queanbeyan. What a fantastic presenter! It was attended by wildlife carers who have a very busy and stressful time caring for native animals 24 hours a day. The emphasis was on self-care, something wildlife carers are particularly poor at doing. Plenty of important topics were addressed – grief and loss, disenfranchised loss, communication with members of the public and within your group, mentoring and compassion fatigue. Thanks Frances, much food for thought and self-reflection.

WildTalk [Frances] came down and took two courses, one in Hobart and one in Launceston, to assist our wildlife carers deal with compassion fatigue and burnout associated with caring. We have had nothing but positive feedback from these courses and I cannot thank Frances enough for coming down. I learnt so much about myself as a carer but also ways to improve my mental health, not just in my caring career but also in my personal life. Cannot recommend this course enough.
